Japan earthquake March 11, 2011

The recent earthquake on 11 March 2011 was the strongest earthquake in the history of Japan disasters with the magnitude of 8.9. It has created a vast tsunami which entered in eastern coast of Japan sweeping cars, buildings and other barriers in its way and caused a state of emergency at nuclear plants in Sendai about 200 miles northeast of Tokyo after a nuclear plant lost power and shut down..One of five nuclear plants has greatly damaged due to earthquake.Quantity of Radiation of radiation has increased 1000 time than its normal level,If the radiation would have not controlled properly than the consequences could be worst than Chernobyl nuclear reactor catastrophe 25 years ago. however the Japanese Nuclear Safety agency said that they radiation outside the plant is 8th times than the normal and this level of exposure is not dangerous to general population. They said that they are trying to overcome to this problem after President Obama said to take all safety precaution.
National disaster Management Authority has issued warning to its other states too. All the images showed great damages to infrastructure. economy and lives. The aftershocks followed by earthquake were of low magnitude. The tsunami hit Russia, Taiwan, Indonesia and Hawaii but the loss and the height of waves were much smaller than those in Japan.
United Nation and US government has announce full support to Japan in rescue activities and all the rest of world is ready to help whatever they can do.
