As apropos of the news on Private T.V channel that American congress has been succeeded in approving the tax cut bill from House of Representatives. 148 votes were against this bill but it finally passed with majority of 277 votes. Now this bill is going to be submitted to President Obama .I hope, president Obama will clear it as it is the wish of Americans well-wishers. American government always busy in relieving its citizens by creating new jobs, cutting taxes, maintaining social and economic equality etc. Every policy of government gets full support of its citizens, in result government always succeeded in achieving their targets.
On the other hand, Pakistani government increasing burden by imposing different taxes. Some time in shape of flood tax, some times by the name of RGST and VAT but all of them have one and common purpose.
Prices of daily necessities of life have been tripled for last two years. A middle class family is unable to get two time meal. Public is on strikes, Industries have been closed downed; economy has been collapsed but government obstinate to implement new taxes.
We should learn from our neighbors countries India, China, Iran, I did not see any strike or long march against forcibly imposed taxes. They get full support from their citizens because they know it is beneficial for them.
I request the Pakistani government to take such steps to minimize the unwanted burden from Pakistanis in order to give them an opportunity to survive in society. Implementing new taxes is not the solution of deficit budget, it should minimize their expenses, and should control embezzlement and corruption than all problems will be solved itself.
