I was surprised to know through an advertisement that Pakistan Electronic Media Regulating Authority has imposed ban on all Islamic cable TV channels till 10th of moharam. I think PEMRA authorities have decided to be serious for the betterment of Pakistan but once again forgot to take the right step. It should ban the Indian unislamic channels instead of Pakistani religious channels. I am wondered to see the courage of PEMRA regarding regular broadcasting pure Indian cultured channel Star Plus on cable despite strict banning order from the courts and government. Interestingly it started broadcasting only Indian channels like Star Plus and some other but not religious channel like Peace TV etc.Studying carefully the decision of PEMRA it seems that it has been converted into a group of business men which do every thing for their personal benefits. I suggest them to work within the parameters as it is good for public and even for themselves too.
